This position includes managing the Alutiiq Museum store, designing and implementing educational programs, and managing all of the museum’s public relations. Through the management of the store I have successfully marketed and promoted Alutiiq art work to where store sales have been record breaking, allowing more success for the artists. The public programming includes: event planning, managing corporate sponsorship, and other major programs that involve the general community. As an educator I have written curriculum, which is posted on the Alutiiq Museum website.

As a fashion specialist I managed two specific fashion lines, BCBG and Impulse. This job gave me extensive background in design and retail management. One of my main duties was creating an atmosphere that would make customers feel excited about the product. I also managed to exceed my sales goals by creating a positive rapport with my clientele.
